Magnesium carbon brick series for electric furnace are made of fused magnesia, high purity magnesia and graphite, which are formed under high pressure by press and processed at low temperature. The product is mainly used in the lining of electric furnace. It has the advantages of high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and peeling resistance. According to smelting conditions and smelting steel, different grades of magnesia-carbon brick can be selected.

Magnesia-carbon brick is a resin-bonded brick, which includes high purity fused magnesia and/or sintered magnesia and flake graphite as the main component. Magnesia-carbon brick has excellent corrosion resistance and good thermal shock function. Due to the use of high purity flake graphite, it has good oxidation resistance. Magnesia-carbon bricks are commonly used in side walls of electric arc furnaces, converters, hot and cold spots, and ladle slag lines.
